Brighter Futures Grants
The final round of grants has been announced
In the final round of Brighter Futures Grants, 90 employees have received funding to improve the health and wellbeing of the communities where they work and live. Approximately $300,000 has been awarded to nominated charities, community groups and individuals.
Following a rigorous judging process, 52 Community Grants, up to $10,000 each, were awarded. These grants funded home rennovations and equipment to increase people's mobility and independence, early intervention therapies for children with physical and intellectual disabilities, food for aid organisations and vulnerable families, and much more.
In addition, 38 Local Grants, each up to $1,000, were awarded. These grants funded sporting equipment, accredited training for sports club volunteers, safety equipment for sports clubs, schools and community organisations, and much more.
